This is the maximum amount of money we will pay in respect of all benefits available under this Plan to each insured person in any one period of insurance. All benefits are payable per insured person per period of insurance unless otherwise stated. Benefit provisions where the Limit is ‘Full Cover' are collectively subject to the Overall Maximum Limit applying.

Section 1: Emergency Medical Transfer & Evacuation

a) The costs of transporting the insured person to the nearest suitable hospital in either the country of residence or a nearby country and returning the insured person to their country of residence after treatment.

b) The costs of a medical escort to accompany the insured person during transportation.

c) Reasonable travelling costs of a friend or relative to accompany the insured person during transportation. The friend or relative must have been travelling with the insured person at the time of the incident.

d) Overnight accommodation costs for the accompanying friend or relative to stay near the insured person while hospitalised.

Up to RMB 800 per night for a maximum of 10 nights per insured event

e) Medical referral assistance services including the provision of basic medical advice by telephone and assistance in replacing essential prescription drugs.
